We understand that sometimes you might forget or misplace a train ticket or railcard, so we'll do our best to treat you fairly if this happens - this is our new common sense approach.

We have a policy to make sure that passengers who have not deliberately avoided paying the relevant fare are not unduly or unfairly treated as a result of the payment or penalty that is due.
